Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Thursday, April 26, 2012, of Cleve Allan Hardy, of Elmsdale, aged 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Blanche (nee Adams) Hardy. Born at Elmsdale, P.E.I., on December 15, 1922, he was the son of the late Emmerson and Hazel (nee MacAusland) Hardy. Dear brother to: Vernon of Elmsdale; Christina (Byron) Hardy of Rexdale Ont; Allison (Frances) of Mississauga, Ont.; Eldon (Cora) of Fortune Cove; Fred (Marilyn) of Mississauga Ont.; and Dorothy (Charles) Grey of Lindsay, Ont. Lovingly remembered by his special nephew, Dwayne MacDonald and wife Bonnie, and great-niece Vanna, of Elmsdale. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law: Thelma Wells of Elmsdale; Ruby (Roy) Fraser of Northport; Walter (Freda) Adams of Moncton, N.B.; Eric (Sandra) Adams of Burlington, Ont.; Gail MacDonald of Summerside; Lorraine (Fraser) MacKinnon of Darnley; Brendon Wallace of Elmsdale; Lillian Adams of Rosebank; Ivan Shea of Ontario. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Mable Shea, Nadine Spottiswood, Elizabeth MacDonald, and Muriel Griffiths. He was also predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry Wells, Ivan Adams, Elmer Adams, Alvin Adams, Roberta Wallace, and Jean Hardy.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, from where the funeral will be held on Saturday, April 28th, at 1;00 pm. Pastor Sheila McCrea-MacCallum officiating. Interment in the Elmsdale United Church Cemetery.
