<p>At the Western Hospital Alberton on Monday September 27, 2010 of James V. Dodds of Brooklyn P.E.I age 85 years. Veteran of the second world war. Beloved husband of 61 years to the late Joan M. (nee Letang) Dodds who predeceased him on May 25, 2010. Born in Seaham Harbour England on May 9, 1925 he was the son of the late Matthew and Elizabeth (nee Akenhead) Dodds. Loving father to Vivien (Jim) Falls of Peterbrough, Ont.; Danny (Sandy) Dodds of Peterbrough, Ont.; June (Leigh) Gordon of Brooklyn; Michael (Remy) Dodds of Toronto. Cherished grandfather to Peter Falls, Jillian Dodds, Krystyna Dodds, Danielle Dodds, Gregory (Tanya) Gordon, Christopher Gordon, Leanne Gordon &amp; Daniel Dodds. Great grandfather to Hannah Gallant. He is also survived by brothers in law, Wilfred (Ted)(Late Jean) Letang of Chatham, Ont. and Patrick (Dorothy) Letang of Montreal as well as his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter and son in law Donna and Bruce Cox and by one brother and two sisters Matthew Dodds, Janet Burr and Alice Laws. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton from where the funeral will be held on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m Rev.Andrew Mortimer officiating.Interment to take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Alberton.
