Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown on Tuesday March 2,2010 of Kenneth Joseph McHugh of Norway P.E.I age 80 years. Loving husband to Phyllis (nee ) Morrissey) McHugh. Born on July 28 1929 he was the son of the late Reginald and Mary (nee McGrath) McHugh. He is survived by his step children, Claude (Roma) Dorgan, Joe (Patsy) Dorgan, Mary (Earl) McGrath, Mickey (Lynn) Dorgan, Raymond (Nora )Dorgan, Patrick (Gloria) Dorgan, Juanita (Don) Leary, Brother to Ray (Margaret) McHugh, Aelred (Sylvia) McHugh, & Wilma (Clarence) Griffin.Brother in law to Gerald Hackett. He will be sadly missed by his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Geraldine Hackett and by a brother Robert. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton for visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral on Friday afternoon March 5,2010 from St.Simon and St.Jude Church Tignish for funeral mass at 2:00 pm. Interment later in the church cemetery.
