At the Western Hospital, Alberton on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 of Nelder William Costain, of the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, age 72years. Born in Miminegash on April 19, 1937, son of the late Elmer and Pearl (Cannon) Costain. He is survived by daughter Faye (Bill) George, Courtenay, BC, son Terry (Donna), Toronto, Ontario, and son Tony, New York, USA. He is also survived by 3 grandsons, Brian, Jacob and Ryan. Dear brother to Goldie Brennan, Elmsdale; Hedley (Marcella), Brockton; Major (Priscilla), Alberton; Lucina Costain (Joe Hogan), Tignish; Brenda (Bill) Wedge, Elmsdale; Vernon (Dianne), Kamloops, BC; Darrell, Lethbridge, AL; Gary (Bernice)and Darris, Miminegash.He is also survived by sisters in law, Noelle Costain of O'Leary,Francis Costain of Miminegash,Eula Costain of Summerside. Predeceased by brothers Emerson, Everett, Tom, Jarvis and sisters Aletha Nordstrom and Velda Ellsworth. Resting at Rooney's Funeral Home, Alberton from where the funeral will be held Sunday, June 28th at 2:30 p.m., Rev. John A.C. Wilson officiating. Visiting hours Saturday 6-9.Interment in Miminegash United Church Cemetery.
