The death of Verna Doreen Pridham of Alberton, age 78, occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Hospital, Alberton, with her loving family by her side. Born at Alberton on August 1, 1947, she was the daughter of the late John Cyril (Jack) and Blanche Doreen (née Gordon) Clark.

Loving mother to Kelly (Lester) of St. Felix and Alana of Alberton. Cherished grandmother to Danielle (Nolan) of Kensington, Colby (Hannah) of Mill River, Alyssa of Charlottetown, Ashton (Travis) of Mill River, and Aricca (Phil) of Stratford. Precious great-grandmother to Sylvie, Conway, Luca, Amayah, Nellie, Clark, and Zoe. Dear sister to Beverley (Wayne) Crouse of Liverpool, NS; Allison of O’Leary; Ralph (Nui) of Montrose; and Scott (Jackie) of Brooklyn. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended members of the Pridham family.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday morning from Gordon Memorial United Church, Alberton, for funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Erasmus Madimbu officiating. Interment will take place in Montrose United Church Cemetery at a later date and time.
