Kelly Everest passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the O'Leary Palliative Care Unit, surrounded by the love of her family.

 

She was the beloved wife of Brian, and a devoted mother to Emily, Molly, and Kate. Kelly was the cherished sister of Andy, Matt, and Brad, and aunt to Reid, Sophie, Lexi, Grant, Teddy, and Nate. Born on August 14, 1974, she was the daughter of William and Marsha (Williams) Yeo.

 

She dedicated 22 years of her professional life as a forensic accountant with the Ontario Securities Commission, where she was respected for her intelligence, diligence, and integrity.

 

Above all, Kelly’s life was defined by her love for her family. Family was the center of her world, and her daughters were her greatest legacy. She took immense pride in Emily, Molly, and Kate, and the love she gave them will continue to live on through them.

 She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

 Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. There will be a Celebration of Life for Kelly at the Victoria West United Church on Tuesday, May 19th at 1pm.
