The death occurred suddenly at his late residence in Alberton, on Thursday, March 20, 2025, of Patrick William (Pat) Murphy, age 62 years. Beloved and loving husband to Karen Ann (nee McKenna) Murphy. Born at Alberton on June 6, 1962, he was the son of the late Shirley James and Leona Mary (nee Butler) Murphy.

Cherished Dad to Drew (Andrea), of Summerside, and Lyla, at home. Dear brother to James (Jean), of Cornwall, Pauline (Earl) Adams, of Elmsdale, Donnie (Bev), of O'Leary, Joseph, of Alberton, Michael, of Alberton, Sheila (John) Gallant, of Howlan, Kelly (Kevin) Millman, of Huntley, Kent (Norma), of Richmond. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Arlene (late Eric) McKenna, and brother-in-law, Blaine McKenna, of Alberton. Pat will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and by his many acquaintances.

He was predeceased by a brother, John.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for visiting hours Sunday evening, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Monday afternoon from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel for funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Tim Broderick officiating. Interment later in the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.
