The death occurred peacefully, at the Palliative Care Unit of
the Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, with her
loving family by her side, of Heather Dawn Rayner, beloved wife of
Gordon James Rayner, of Montrose, age 61 years. Born at Saint John,
NB, on September 11, 1963, she was the daughter of Murray W.
(stepmother, Jeanette) and the late Gloria Dawn (Marr)
Scott.
Loving mother to Aaron (deceased), Tim (Jenna), of West
Devon, Rebekah (Ryan Doucette), of Kildare, Hannah (Justin Ford), of
Greenmount, and Charity at home. Cherished grandmother to Holden
Rayner, Benson Handrahan, Kipton Rayner, Skylin Rayner, Casey Ford,
and Avaleigh Ford. Dear sister to Wayne Scott, of Toronto, and Sherri
(Mark) McKillop of Plaster Rock, NB. Heather is also survived by her
brothers and sisters-in-law, Lee (Heather Ann) Rayner, of Kildare,
Kathy (Dwight) Berry, of Elmsdale, Carol (John) McMillan, of
Magaguadavic, NB, Doreen (Jeff) Lewis, of Elmsdale, Wendell (Lisa)
Rayner, of Kildare, Brenda (Charlie) Edgar, of Plaster Rock, NB,
Barbara (late Gerald) Douthwright, of Middlesex, NB, and James
(Nicole) Rayner, of Kildare. Heather will be sadly missed by her many
nieces, nephews, and by her church family, and her many friends and
acquaintances.
She was predeceased by her son Aaron, her mother Gloria,
father and mother-in-law, James and Betty Rayner.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton.
Visiting hours Saturday March 15th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral on
Sunday Morning from the Grace Harbour Pentecostal Church, Alberton,
for funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Pentecostal
Cemetery, Foy Road.
