The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Friday, December 20, 2024, of Barbara Ann Gallant, formerly of Anglo-Tignish, age 82 years. Born on December 20, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Melvina (nee Jones) Gallant.

Dear sister to Joyce (Carver) Hackett of North Cape, Edith (late Donnie) Gavin of Anglo-Tignish, Connie (late Roger) Boucher of Lawrencetown, NS, Sandra (Peter) Webb of Amherst, NS, Oswald of Tignish, and Christine Lepointe of Bridgewater, NS. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Albert Hackett of Tignish, and by her many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings, Norma Hackett, Andrea Gallant, Margory (late Clarence) Recoskie of Pembrooke, ON.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. No visitation or funeral by personal request. A graveside committal service will take place at St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery at a later date and time.
