Lucille "Rusty" Borgman, 93, of Candler, NC, died Monday, October 28, 2024, at Kempteo Assisted Living in Jacksonville, NC.

Rusty was married to the late Dr. Robert Bergman for 56 years. They resided in Candler, NC, and spent their summers in Kildare Capes, PEI. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice Brown.

She leaves behind her sons, Karl (Rhonda) Bergman, and Freddy Bergman, and her daughter, Hannah Curti. She was loved by her grandchildren, Samantha (Casey) Atwater, Rachel (Kris) Trott, Sean Curti, Kristi (Kevin) Compton, Nathan Bergman, and Madi Gawerecki. 

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home in Morehead, NC. Her ashes will be put to rest alongside her husband in Kildare Capes, PEI, at a later date and time.
