The death occurred at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary, on Saturday, November 30, 2024, of Alden Samuel  Metherall, formerly of Alberton age 93 years. Born at Mill River East on July 24, 1931, he was the son of the late Arthur R. and Lulu M. (nee Wilkie) Metherall.

Alden is survived by his daughters, Lorna Metherall, Barbara Grey, and Judy Matthews. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Funeral Saturday afternoon December 7, 2024, for funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Erasmus Madimbo officiating. Visiting hours Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Alberton.
