The death occurred at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Sunday, November 17, 2024, with his loving family by his side, of Joseph Eugene (Sonny) Tremblay, of Alberton, age 88 years. Beloved husband to Frances Bernadette (nee Larter) Tremblay. Born at Bathurst, NB, on May 13, 1936, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Catherine (nee Doucette) Tremblay.

Dear father to Peter (Rosetta) Tremblay, of Alberton, Tracy (Michael) Hennessey, of Hortonville, NS, Sharon Tremblay (deceased). Cherished grandfather to Irma Tremblay, Sonny Tremblay, Derek (Kayleigh), and Kelly (Brody) Todd. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Stephanie Gaudet, Mary Melynchuk, Robbie Larter (Rachel Roy) Cynthia Larter, and by brother-in-law, John Weeks.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 21st, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral on Friday from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Jacque Reguard, Celebrant. Interment in the Church cemetery.
