The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Monday, November 18, 2024, with the love and support of her loving family, of Sylvia "Dale" McCue, beloved wife of David McCue, of Maple Street, Tignish, age 78 years. Born at West Devon, PEI, on May 19, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Irwin Allen and Agatha Frances (nee Bulger) Sharpe.

Loving mother to Barry (Gail), of Tignish, James, of Charlottetown, Patrick (Pam) of Tignish, Floyd (Deanna), of Tignish, Colleen (deceased), Paula, of Tignish, and Swede (Jody) of Tignish. 

Cherished Gram to Mason, Marshal, Chase, Dallas, Evan, Storm, Maggie, Emily, Tanner, Charlee Jean. Great-grandmother to Maeryn, Maizie, Lena, and Jace. Dear sister to Roma (Earl) O'Meara, of Scarborough, ON, Allen (Patricia) Sharpe, of West Point, Gordon (late Peggy) Sharpe, of O'Leary, Oswald (Chris) Sharpe, of Bomanville, ON, Roger (Claudette) Sharpe, of Coleman, Tony (Angela) Sharpe, of West Point, Nancy (Jimmy) Arsenault, of Summerside, Beverley (Bernard) Jeffery, of Coleman, Leila (Danny) Lynch, of Fortune Cove, Paul (Christine), of West Devon, and Lillian (Dale) Lynch, of Enfield, NS. Dale will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton. Private family visitation only, by personal request. Funeral on Thursday afternoon, November 21, 2024, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Tim Broderick, Celebrant. Interment in the Church Cemetery. Following the interment everyone is invited to attend a luncheon at the Parish centre.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials to St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery Fund or to the West Devon United Church Cemetery Fund will be gratefully appreciated.
