Daniel Randy MacDonald, a devoted son, brother and partner, passed away surrounded by family on November 1, 2024, at the age of 52.

Loving son of Barb (Lee Doucette) Gaudet, and Blaine (Doreen) MacDonald. Cherished partner to Christine Sheppard, and her son Nick. Beloved brother to Scott MacDonald, Amanda (Guerino) Antolini, Matthew MacDonald, Jannine (Lloyd) Delorey, Jillian (Paul) Butler, John (Jennifer) Delorey, James Delorey, and Jane (Rob) Delorey Mills. Loving uncle, nephew, and cousin to a large extended family.

Danny's bond with brother, Scott, was unbreakable, "2 pieces of the same person", a sibling connection built on laughter, trust, and unconditional love. Together, they shared a home, a heart, and a lifetime of memories.

Danny touched so many through his lifelong friendships. Danny, was a shining soul with a heart of gold. His infectious smile, generous spirit, and unwavering resilience in life made a lasting impression on all that knew him. His loyalty to his family and friends was to be admired by all who knew him.

Danny was a talented artist, a master of DIY, and a genius at figuring things out.

When he wasn't tinkering with something, he enjoyed helping others, without hesitation. A few of his passions were: small engine repair, especially his Z50 dirt bikes (for the rush and the freedom), plants (where his green thumb flourished), and sharing laughs and adventures with lifelong friends.

Danny's courageous battle with health inspired countless others. A passionate advocate for those afflicted with cancer.

Above all, Danny’s love of life, family, and friendship will forever be remembered.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Simon and St Jude Cemetery, Tignish, PEI, would be greatly appreciated.

A Celebration of Life has taken place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 1596-1598 St. Margaret's Bay Road, Lakeside.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., November 16, 2024, at St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, PEI.

Danny will be laid to rest at St. Simon and St Jude Cemetery, with his grandparents, Jimmy and Freda Gaudet.
