The death occurred suddenly at Mill River East, on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, as the result of a highway accident, of ShayLynn Faith Ellsworth, precious daughter of Rodney and Inga (nee Fitzgerald) Ellsworth of Alberton, age 25 years. Born on February 9, 1999.

Loving sister of Logan (Savannah) of Alberton, and nephew, Casey. Lovingly remembered by her boyfriend, Carson Chaisson, of St. Louis. Loving granddaughter to Edward and Ruth Fitzgerald of Alberton, and Harold and Bernetta Ellsworth of St. Louis. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Rebecca (Darren) Ellsworth of St. Lawrence, Laura Lee (Wayne) Matthews of Montrose, Kenny (Heather) Ellsworth of Bloomfield, and Adrienne Gallant of Summerside. Shaylynn will be sadly missed by her cousins, Ava (Chase), Allie, Xavier, Lyndsay, Shanae (Kyle and Grace), Amber, Jamie (Zoe), and Jennifer (Daryl). Also left to mourn her passing are her many friends and acquaintances.

She was predeceased by uncles, Sean Fitzgerald and Billy Ellsworth.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass on Monday from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Walter Flynn, celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
