The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Monday, March 18, 2024, with her loving family by her side, of Connie Marie Skerry, beloved wife of Wendell Skerry, of Northport, PEI, age 80 years. Born at Dartmouth, NS, on May 5, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Geneva (nee Beaver) O'Brien.

Loving mother to a daughter, Shawnna Croft, and her children, Michael, Tyler, and Cody, of Elmsdale, NS, and by son, Darren Skerry, and partner, Karie Blaney, and by granddaughter, Madison, of Cole Harbour, NS. Great-grandmother to Deanna, Kylie, and Jack. She is also survived by siblings, Delores (Keith) MacDonald, of Wainwright, AB, and Joseph (Peggy) O'Brien, of Musquodoboit Harbour, NS. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and friends.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Saturday from 12:30 p.m, until 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Ann Bush officiating. Interment later to take place in St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery.
