The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer, and with his loving wife and son by his side, of James BARRY Campbell, of Slemon Park, Summerside, and formerly of Alberton, age 75 years. Beloved husband to Linda Evans (nee Rendell) Campbell, and loving father to Jonathan. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, USA, on February 29, 1948, he was the son of the late J.W. Don and Corean B. (nee MacPhee) Campbell, of Alberton.

Dear brother-in-law to Alice Campbell, of Mass, Ronald Rendell, of Conneticutt, and  Carleton Buck, of Massachusetts. Dear uncle to Erin (Kevin) Borges, of MA, James (Christina) Campbell, of MA, Jennifer Buck, of MA, Jeffery Buck, of Mexico, and Jared (Lily) Buck, of China. He is also survived by his cousins, friends, and acquaintances.

He was predeceased by a son, David, in infancy, his twin brother, Brian, and by a sister-in-law, Karen Buck.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Funeral Monday morning February 26th from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, for funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Colin Nicholle officiating. Visiting hours Monday 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral. Interment later in St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy memorials to St. Peter's Anglican Church Memorial Fund or to St. Mary's Anglican Church, Summerside. will be gratefully appreciated.

The family would like to thank the Home Care Team, PCH, and the QEH for the excellent care given to Barry during his illness.
