The death occurred peacefully at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound, on Thursday, January 4, 2024, of Isabel Erma Lamont (nee Costain), age 94. Born in Miminegash, PEI, on June 20, 1929, she was the beloved wife of the late James Lamont.

Loving mother of Andy Lamont (Cassie), of Port Hope, Myra Wiseman (Doug), of Owen Sound, and Ian Lamont (Lauren Miller), of Owen Sound. Cherished Grandma of Bethany Wiseman (Brendan Derry), Holly Salter (Robin), and Doug Miller. Dear sister of Ivy Maxwell. Isabel will also be missed by her great-grandchildren, Charlie and Miles Salter, Allegra and Finnian Derry, her nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her parents, George and Jessie Costain, siblings, Myra Williams (Keith), Celesta Sawyer (John), Peter Costain (Ruby), and Shirley Gillis (Basil).

 Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel Alberton.In keeping with Isabel’s wishes, a funeral service will be held at a later date with interment in the Miminegash United Church Cemetery.
