The death occurred peacefully at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary, on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, of Oswald Thomas "Bill" Wedge, formerly of Brockton, age 90 years. Born at Palmer Road, PEI, on August 10, 1933, he was the son of the late Thomas and Theresa "Teed" (nee Costain) Wedge. Beloved husband to the late Brenda Olive (nee Costain), who predeceased him in 2020.

Leaving to mourn, daughter, Beverley (late Wilbert) Meggison, of Alberton, grandsons, Curtis (Daniel) Meggison-Strongman, Charlottetown, and Josh (Kathleen MacArthur) Meggison, Summerside. Great-grandchildren, Zachary and Paisley Meggison. Survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Sybil (late Howlan), Phyllis (late Aubrey), Noelle (late Tommy) Costain, Eula (late Jarvis) Costain, Priscilla (late Major) Costain, Hedley (Marcella) Costain, Gary (Bernice) Costain, and Darris Costain. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Predeceased by son, Miles Rodney Wedge in 2020, son-in-law, Wilbert Meggison, siblings Arnold, Wilbert "Buster" (Rita), Aubrey, Florence (Louis) Flynn, Betty (Gerald) Sheppard, Doreen, Abbot, Howlan, and sister, Audrey in infancy, and also by his mother and father-in-law, Elmer and Pearl (nee Cannon) Costain.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel for visiting hours Friday, January 12th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Saturday, January 13th, from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.
