The death peacefully, at her home, on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, of Shirley Marie Phillips beloved wife of the late William C. (Bill) Phillips, of Alberton age 88 years. Born at Amherst, NS, on August 10, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Richard G. and Catherine H. (nee Pollick) Banks.

Loving mother to Cheryl Ann (Gerald) MacLean, of Pleasant Valley, William John (Susan) Phillips of Dartmouth, NS, and Kristine Elizabeth Doiron, of Calgary. Dear sister of Bette Ann (Kenneth) Paradian, of Toronto. Also survived by a brother, Richard A. (Susan) Banks, of Toronto. Cherished grandmother to Nicholas (Robyn) Maclean, Mitch (Erika) MacLean, Chad (Jess) MacLean, Brooks (Pauline) MacLean, Julie Phillips, Laura Phillips, Sarah Phillips, Joshua Doiron, Taylor Doiron, and Kaitlin Doiron. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren, Ethan Drew, Isla, Lilly, and Leo.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. No visitation or formal funeral by request. A private family service to be held.
