At the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Monday, January 1, 2024, C. Alder Pridham, of Montrose, PEI, age 87 years, passed away peacefully, after a lengthy battle with cancer, with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband to Bessie Blanche (nee Rayner) Pridham. Born in Montrose, PEI, on January 10, 1936. He was the son of the late Harry and Christine (nee Marshall) Pridham.

Lovingly remembered by his children: Sharon (Jeffrey) Baker, of Tilley, NB, Bruce (Sheila) Pridham, of Montrose, Roxanne (Grant) MacArthur, of Summerside, Christa Lee (Basil) Goodine, of Salisbury, NB, and Dwayne (Josephine) Moore, of Alberton. Alder will be sadly missed by his fourteen cherished grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother, Herbert (June) Pridham, of Montrose, and by his sister, Shirley (Blair) Barbour, of Alberton. Alder is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Revada (late George) Bowness, of Montrose, Burton (Eleanor) Rayner, of Alberton, Edith (David) Campbell, of Alberton, and by his nieces, nephews, friends, and acquaintances.

He was predeceased by siblings, Helen Burns, Ernest Pridham, Ina Gulliver, and Alfred Pridham.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for visitation Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service on Thursday afternoon, from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Foy Road.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials in memory of Alder can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O'Leary, the Western Hospital, Alberton, or Foreign Missions of Belize and Fiji, and would be gratefully appreciated.
