The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community, Hospital, O'Leary, with his loving family by his side, on Thursday, December 7, 2023, of Dale Patrick Gaudette, beloved husband of Barbara (nee Pitre) Gaudette of St. Felix, aged 65 years. Born at Alberton, on January 21, 1958, he was the son of Irene Mary (nee Buote) Gaudette, and the late Edward Clarence Gaudette. 

Cherished father of Brendan (Kaylan) Gaudette, Tignish. Dear brother to Douglas (Nadine), of St. Felix, Dwayne (Lillian), of Tignish, Pat (Pam), of St. Felix, Della (Glen) Sweet, of O'Leary, Dena Bernard, of Mississauga, ON, and Melany (PJ) Doherty, of Etobicoke, ON.

He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Bertha (late Dennis Pitre), of St. Felix, Emily (Vernie) Chowen, of Charlottetown, Theresa (Maurice) Martin, of Charlottetown, Emile (Helene) Pitre, of Tignish Shore, Angela, of St. Felix, Shirley (late Seymour) DesRoches, of St. Felix, Joe Peters, of Charlottetown, and Francis (Nicole) Pitre, of St. Felix. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Edward, in 2004, and brother, Donald, in 1977 his niece Sydney Payton Gaudette in 2020 as well as  brothers-in-law, Cecil, Lloyd, and Oswald.  

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday evening 6-9 p.m. Funeral Monday morning at St. Simon and St. Jude, Tignish, with funeral mass at 10:30 am., Rev. John Molina, Celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
