The death occurred at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary, on Friday, November 17, 2023, of Mary Elizabeth Lynde, formerly of Oshawa, ON, age 90 years. Predeceased by her husband, Douglas Lynde. Born at Oshawa, ON, on June 1, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (nee McClimond) Shearer.

Lovingly remembered by her children, Sherri Hull (Charlie) MacDonald, of West Cape, Jane Lynde (deceased), Robyn Lynde, of Alberton, Tammy Lynde-deBruyn, of Toronto, ON, and Jack (Jana) Lynde, of Peterborough, ON. She will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. No visitation by personal request. Service to be held at a later date.
