It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our husband and father, Joseph Edgar Lynch, aged 75, who passed suddenly on August 28, 2023, at his home in Alberton, PEI.  

He will be fondly remembered by his wife Anne Lynch (nee Doucette), and was a loving father to Joey (Joanne) Lynch, Reaby (Randy) McFadyen, James Lynch, Priscilla (Dana) Ellis, Curtis (Sharon) Lynch, and Cassandra (Carl) Lynch. He is also a loving grandfather to 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. 

Joseph is predeceased by his parents, Leo and Reaby Lynch, and his stepmother, Shirley Lynch. He is survived by his siblings, Phyllis (Leonard) Gallant, Peter (Molly) (Freda deceased) Lynch, David (Inga) Lynch, Anne (Wally) Lynch, Robert (Sherri) Coughlin, and Carl Lynch, Dale (Lillian) Lynch, Adrien (Sharon) Lynch, Paul (Sharon) Lynch, Rose (Roger) MacDonald, and Randy (Nicki) Lynch. 

Resting at Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, for visitation on Thursday, August 31st, from 6-9pm. Funeral to be held in the chapel on Friday, September 1st, at 11am, with Rev. Ross Morrison officiating. 

Interment at the Bloomfield United Cemetery, with gathering to follow at St. Anthony’s Parish Hall in Bloomfield.
