The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, August 21, 2023, with her loving family by her side, of Linda Marie Perry, of Hogan Road, Tignish, age 73 years. Beloved wife of the late Howard Joseph Perry, who predeceased her in 2021. Born in Lawrence, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Cyril J. and Rita M. (nee Myers) Perry.

Loving mother to Dianne Marie Landry, of Derry, NH, and Susan Landry (William Huebel), of Stafford, NH. Stepmother to Stacy (Darrell) Welsh, of Alberta, and Darcy (Bethany) Perry, of Charlottetown. Cherished grandmother to Emily Rose Huebel, Gaby and Isabelle Welsh, Sofia, Gus, and Tessa Perry. Dear sister to Janice Perry, of Tignish, and Russell Perry, of Tuscon, AZ. She is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo (Gail) Perry, of Tignish, Freddie (Wanda) Perry, of Anglo, Ann Marie (Ralph) Clark, of New Dominion, Bertha Perry, of Argyle Shore, and Elizabeth MacDougall, of Argyle Shore. She will be sadly missed by her nieces,nephews friends and aquantances.

She was predeceased by siblings, Ronnie Perry, and Kenny Perry, and by sister and brothers-in-law, Virginia Burke, Tommy, Cedric, and Willie Perry.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel for visiting hours Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral on Thursday, August 24th, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 3:00 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the St. Simon and St. Jude Church Restoration Fund would be gratefully appreciated.

The Tignish Council of the CWL will hold prayers for their departed member at the Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
