The death occurred peacefully, at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, with her loving family by her side, of Auldine Mary Boudreault, formerly of Tignish, age 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Alcide Joseph Boudreault. Born June 12, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary Frances (nee Harper) Arsenault.

Lovingly remembered by her son, Donald (Sharon) Boudreaut, of Greenmount, and daughter, Janet (Alvin) Hackett, of Tignish. Loving grandmother to Jeremy (Julie) Hackett, Dustin (Daphne) Hackett, Jeffrey (Wendy) Hackett, Thomas (Lexie) Hackett, Scott Boudreault (deceased), and Adam (Keshia) Boudreault. Great-grandmother to Tegan Dyment, Morgan Hackett, Jack, Luke, and Noah Hackett, Jesse and Macey Hackett, Chase McCue, Aidan (Ava) Boudreault, and Jacob and Ryan Matthews. Great-great-grandmother to Nash and Lainey Dyment. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Doreen (late Fred) Arsenault. Also survived by her nieces, nephews, friends, and acquaintances.

She was predeceased by an infant son, Gerald, and by siblings, Audrey Barkwell, Vera Chaisson, Frank Arsenault, and Fred Arsenault.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for visitation Thursday, August 10, 2023,from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. then to St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 3:00 p.m., Rev. John Molina, Celebrant. Interment in the Church cemetery.
