The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, on Monday, August 7, 2023, with her loving family by her side, of Elizabeth "Rosemary" Gavin, beloved wife of Bradley Gerard Gavin, of Alberton, age 64 years. Born at Alberton on February 21, 1959, she was the daughter of the late James Arnold and Mary Eneth (Wadman) Avery. 

Cherished sister of Sheldon, Piusville, Craig (Joann), of Summerside, and Leanne (Rod) Millman, of Summerside. Lovingly remembered by mother-in-law, Noreen (late Lester) Gavin, and by brothers and sisters-in-law, Lillian (Duane) Gaudette, Dale Gavin, Theresa Gavin, Steve McNeill, Leslie (Kenneth) Arsenault, Gerald McNeill, and David (Jill) Gavin. Dear niece to Wilma (John) Campbell, and Phyllis (Donnie) Matthews. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. She will also be sadly missed by her special nephew, Evan Millman. Also missed by her fur buddy Wiley.

She was predeceased by her infant sister, Wilma Colleen Avery, and sister-in-law, Barb Deziel.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. No visitation by personal request. Funeral Thursday morning from Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Walter Flynn, Celebrant. Interment in the chuch cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetes Association would be gratefully appreciated.
