The death occurred at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary, on Saturday, June 24, 2023, of Henry Prosper Perry, formerly of Tignish Shore, age 94 years. Born at Tignish Shore on May 27, 1929, he was the last surviving family member of the late Jerome and Mary Rose (nee Perry) Perry.

Henry will be lovingly remembers by his many nieces, nephews, and friends, especially his dear friend, Beverley MacAusland. He was predeceased by siblings, Aubin, at an early age, Alphonse, John, Anthony, Edmund, Doris, Celina, Mary, Delima, Margaret, and Aubin.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday, June 30, 2023, from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. Funeral on Friday, June 30, 2023, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 3:00 p.m., Rev. John Molina, Celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
