The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, June 23, 2023, with his loving family by side, of Davy Paul Richard, of Old Martin Road, St. Felix, age 55 years. Born on February 2, 1968, he was the son of the late Leo Joseph and Marina Mary (nee Perry) Richard. 

Loving father to Neville, and loving companion to Myrra Demesa. Dear brother to Allie (Betty Ann) of Tignish, and Ronnie (Patsy), of Tignish. Davy will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and acquaintances.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Monday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 3:00 p.m., Rev. John Molina, Celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
