The death occurred at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Friday, May 19, 2023, of Peter Gerard MacKey, age 55 years. Beloved son of Hazel Mary (nee Ellsworth) MacKey, of Alberton, and the late James Alfred MacKey.

Dear brother of John (Diane), of Montreal, Carl, of Charlottetown, and Paul, of Greenmount. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephew, Jessica, Jennifer, and Jason. Peter is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousin.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Tuesday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday morning, from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
