The death occurred at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, with her loving family by her side, of Eunice Catherine Gaudet, formerly of Sea Cow Pond, aged 83 years. Beloved wife of Freddie Gaudet. Born October 29, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus J. and Catherine M. (nee LeClair) Perry.

Dear mother of Harold Dalton, Charlottetown, Donna (late Paul) Gregory, London, ON, Linda Dalton, of Mississauga, ON, Frances (Gary) Gavin, of Sea Cow Pond, Evanne (Kevin) Doucette, of Palmer Road, Tommy (Susan), Rockwood, ON, Carol Anne (Lloyd) Arsenault, of Palmer Road, and Shelly (Tommy) Gaudet, of Tignish. Loving grandmother to Derrick, Ronald, Robyn, Rhonda, Robert, Ashley, Stephanie, Rachel, Troy, Cory, Cassie, Adam, Mitchel, Matthew, Courtney, Dean, Brittany, Tyler, Jenna, Whitney, and Kaylee. She is also survived by her 28 great-grandchildren.

Dear sister to Delima Myers, Victor Perry, Imilda Arsenault, Shirley Smith, Noreen Spurell, Marie Malone, Peggy Gallant, Angela Perry, Eva Yeo, and Ernest Perry. She is also survived by her father-in-law, Charlie (late Melvina) Gaudet, Stephen Gaudet, Dale Gaudet, Jacinta (Dale) Arsenault, Gail (Leo) Perry, and Roger (late Patsy) Gavin. Lovingly remembered by good friend, Marie (late Bernard) Morrissey. Also survived by her beloved fur buddy, Rocky.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Clarence Dalton, her father and mother, Cyrus and Catherine (nee LeClair) Perry, step-father, Earl Brennan, brother, Ronald Perry, and a sister, Barbara Perry. Also predeceased by good friends, Walter and Marguerite Gavin, Ray and Margaret McHugh.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for visitation Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Friday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. John Molina, Celebrant. Interment later in the Church cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery Fund or to the IWK Children's Hospital.
