The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Monday, March 6, 2023, of Cora Anna Hardy, of Riverview Drive, Cascumpec, age 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Eldon Emmerson Hardy, who predeceased her on May 12, 2019. Born at Hills River, PEI, on December 11, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Willard Seth and Ruth Georgina (nee Matthews) Coughlin.

Loving mother to Pam (Wayne) Gamester, of Calgary, and Gary Hardy, of Charlottetown. Cherished grandmother to Chelsa Gamester (Tanner Gulash), and Emily (Scott) Van Melsen, of Calgary. Caring great-grandmother to Rey. Dear sister to Lynn (Gordon) Adams, of Alberton, Angela (Wade) MacDonald, of Brooklyn, Cindy (Lennie) Gillis, of Stratford, Janet Coughlin Cameron, of Summerside, Alexis (Jimmy) Hardy, of Alberton, and Kent (Charlotte) Coughlin, of Brooklyn. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Betty Coughlin, of Alberton, Dorothy Gray, of Ontario, and by a brother-in-law, Vernon Hardy of Elmsdale. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was predeceased by siblings, Roger, Wade, and Mona (late Tom) Cotie.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visitation Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral on Saturday morning from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Sheila McCrae-MacCallum officiating. Interment later in Hillcrest Cemetery, Alberton.
