It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edward "Ted" Forster, of St. Felix, PEI. The death occurred peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, with loved ones by his side. Born on January 23, 1926, in South Shields, England, he was the beloved husband of the late Isabel Sime Sneddon, and son of the late Thomas Edward and Ella Veronica (nee Ritchie) Forster.

Loving father to Mary Jane (Ronald) Handrahan, of St. Felix, Thomas Edward (Lorrie) Forster, of Ontario, and James Macmillan Forster, of Alberta. Cherished grandfather to Michael Handrahan, Natasha (Patrick) O’Brien, Samantha Rezgui, Ian Handrahan (deceased), Courtney (Richard) Hickey, Ryan Forster, and Maxime Forster. Great-grandfather to Crystal, Brooke, Shianne, Ethan (O’Brien), Ian, Ty, Gracie, Marshall, McGuire, Marcus, Trey, Ethan (Hickey), Sadie, Landon, Brayden, Kaylee, Alexis, and Andrew. Great-great-grandfather to Brynlee, Kyson, and Luca. Dear brother-in-law to Lillian Axford, Dundonald, Scotland, and uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Edward was predeceased by siblings, George Noble Oliver Forster, of Scotland, Vera Forster, Ella Hewison, Kenneth Forster, and William Forster, all of England, and by his grandson, Ian Handrahan, of St. Felix, PEI. Also pre-deceased by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James Sneddon, of South Africa, and Archibald Sneddon, Lancelot Sneddon, Sarah Michell, Janet Morrison, and Moira Abbott, all of Scotland.

No funeral or visitation by personal request. A private interment service to take place at a later date.
