The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, October 1, 2022, of Everett Joseph McCormick, of St. Lawrence, age 76 years. Beloved husband of Marlene Elaine (nee Gallant) McCormick. Born at Miminegash, PEI, on January 11, 1946, he was the son of the late Howard W. and Edna M. (nee Gallant) McCormick.

Loving grandfather to Rebecca and Jessica. Great-grandfather to Brynn. Dear brother to Nora (Frank) McNalley, of Florida, Doris (Leo) Doucette, of Summerside, Kay (Alfred) Gallant of Miminegash, Elmer McCormick, of Huntley, and Ross McCormick, of Alberton. He is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Pauline (Charles) Stewart, of Malpeque, Terry (Laura) Gallant, of Bloomfield, Betty (Roy) Ellsworth, of St. Lawrence. Everett will be fondly remembered and missed by his nieces, nephews, and by his many friends.

He was predeceased by a stepson, Dwayne Ellsworth, and by sisters, Millie Deagle, and Florrie Mills.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. No public visitation by personal request. A funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Anthony's Church, Woodstock, on Wednesday afternoon, at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
