The death occurred peacefully, at the Community Hospital, O’Leary, on Friday, September 23, 2022, of Janet Helen McMillan (nee White), of Travellers Rest, age 69 years. Beloved wife of George McMillan. Born in Charlottetown, on October 8, 1952, she was the daughter of the late David White, and the late Genevieve White (nee Larter). 

Cherished mother of Tracie (Mario) Arsenault, Amanda McMillan-Johnston (Derek Johnston), and Martine McMillan (James Marjerrison). Loving grandmother to Tyler and Sydney Strongman, Aidan Arsenault, Xander and Myla Johnston. Dear sister to Eileen (deceased), Charlie, Bernard, Lloyd, Margaret (deceased), Jim (deceased), and Caroline. Janet will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visitation Tuesday, October 4th from 2:00 to 3:30pm. The funeral will be held following the visitation, at the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, at 3:30 p.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. Interment to be held in St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery, Alberton, at a later date.
