The death occurred peacefully, at her home in Stratford, PEI, Sunday, August 14, 2022, with her loving family by her side, of Nadine Ann (nee Gavin) Ramsay, aged 78 years. Born at Saint John, NB, on July 12, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Daniel P. and Bessie N. (nee Bernard) Gavin.

Cherished mother to Mary (George) Matthews, of Rocky Point, Christine (Randy) Jeffery, of Alberton, Kenny (Laurie) Ramsay, of Huntley, and Billy (Tania) Ramsay, of Stratford. Loving grandmother to Austin, Tyler, Tonya, Jason, Jennifer, Cheryl, Mark, Brody, Alex, Gracie, Jerika, and Nathan. She will be sadly missed by her 19 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Clifford (deceased August 14, 2022) Gary (Lee Ann), of Alberton, and Austin (Clarence), of Saint John. Dear step-sister to, Fred (Bev) McElhiney, of Alberton. Dear friend to Emanuel (Connie) Bernard, of Alberton. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends, and acquaintances, especially by the extended Ramsay family.

She was predeceased by her brother, Clifford (late Dora) Gavin, her husband, Amos (Amy) Ramsay, her stepmother, Ethel McElhiney, and her father and mother-in-law, Amos and Margaret Ramsay.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Tuesday evening from 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday afternoon from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant and Rev. Donald Savoie, celebrants. Interment in the church cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund, or to the West Prince Caring Cupboard would be gratefully appreciated.
