The death occurred peacefully at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Friday, June 24, 2022, with his family by his side, of Leslie Charles Hardy, of Alberton, age 91 years. Beloved husband to the late Jessie Belle (nee Baglole) Hardy. Born at Rosebank, PEI, on May 24, 1931, he was the son of the late Willard J. and Agnus (nee MacMillan) Hardy.

Loving father to Leslye (David) Albert, of Alberton, and Colleen (Ronnie) O'Halloran of South Kildare. Cherished grandfather to Mark MacCormick, Charles O'Halloran and Steven O'Halloran. Dear brother to Kenneth (Dorothy) of Moncton, Donald Hardy of Moncton, Allan (Vicky) Hardy of Amherst, and Grant Hardy of Moncton. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Esther Hardy, of Tignish, and Emma (Eddie) Spenchuck, of Windsor, ON. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Jessie, in 2018, his grandson, Shawn MacCormick, in 2018, and by his brother Floyd Hardy.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. No public visitation by request. Funeral on Monday, June 27, 2022, from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, for funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Robert Lockhart and Pastor Betty Zita officiating. Interment to follow in the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.
