The death occurred peacefully, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Friday, June 3, 2022, of Edith Marie DesRoche, of St. Felix, age 71 years. Beloved wife of the late Leamon J. DesRoche, who predeceased her January 1, 2009. Born at Alberton, on April 1, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Doris (nee Gaudet) Tremblay.

Cherished mother to Penni (Anthony) Carlitto, of Henderson, Nevada. Dear sister to Diana Dube, of New Hampshire, USA, Rayburn (Lorraine) Tremblay, of Charlottetown, and Judy (Willard) Murphy, of Tignish. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, and by her fur grandbabies, Sweetie and Gotti.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Tuesday, 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Greg Conway, celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
