It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the
passing of George Peter Dalton, age 87, at the Provincial
Palliative Care Centre in Charlottetown, PEI, on May 25,
2022, surrounded by family.
He will be greatly missed by his children, grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, brother and sisters, as well as cousins and close
friends.
He is predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Norma Jean
(JoAnn) recently, as well as his parents, Peter and Lucina Dalton, and
his brothers, Raymond, Joseph, and Donald.
He is survived by his brother, Louis, sisters,
Marie, Eileen, Joan, and Helen, and his children, Debbie, Lori, Ted,
Alan, and stepson, Toby.
He was loved and respected by his grandchildren, Tammy,
Kyle, Kelsie, Tracy, Skyler, and Sydney, and 3 great-grandchildren. He
had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in his life, that were
like family, that will deeply miss him.
A service will be held for George and his recently deceased
wife Norma Jean, at St. Mark's Parish Church, Rte. 14, Lot#7,
Burton, PEI, on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., followed
by a burial in the new section of the cemetery, as well as a gathering
at St. Mark's Parish hall after the burial.
Please, no flowers, however, a donation to St. Mark's
Cemetery Fund, as well as donations to the Provincial Palliative Care
Centre (93 Murchison Lane, Charlottetown, PEI C1A 0G3) would be
gratefully appreciated.
