It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing, on May 19, 2022, of Donald (Donnie) James Finley, of Elmsdale, age 18 years. Born on January 20, 2004, he was the son of Jamie Finley and Rachel Kameka.

Dear grandson to Jewel and the late Donnie Finley, and Paul and the late Debbie (McKenna) Kameka. Much loved brother to Hillary, Jasmine, and Felix. Beloved nephew to Jacquelin Finley and  uncle to Percy, and special first cousin to Naomi Betts.

Donnie attended Westisle Composite High School, where he participated in the automotive program. He was a friend to everyone. His goofy grin, wild orange hair, and the two-litre Pepsi under his arm, he would be there for anyone who needed him.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, for funeral Monday, May 23, 2002, from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, Alberton, for funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Bethe Cameron officiating. Visitation to be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral. Interment in the Elmsdale United Church Cemetery.
