It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Henry Albert Gillian, of Charlottetown, and formerly of South Kildare, on February 23rd. He was the much loved partner for 31 years of Betty Gallant. 

 

Remembered by stepsons, Scott Nicholson (Lori), Robert Nicholson, Eddie Nicholson and Chad Gallant (Samantha), and grandsons, Weston and Kyle (Liz), and by five step-great-grandchildren. Also remembered by brothers, Gordon Gillian, (Arlene), Eric Greencorn (Chris), and Edward Greencorn (Bobby-Jo), sisters-in-law, Donna Greencorn, Una Poirier, and Kim Court and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

 

Predeceased by his mother, Hazel Greencorn (stepfather, Carmen) sisters, Lila MacCallum (Francis), Marj Gauthier (Brian), Betty and Barbara Greencorn, brothers, David, Jimmy, and Johnny Greencorn, grandparents, Addie and Albert Gillian, who raised him, and uncles, Herbert, and William, and aunt, Glennie Schofield.

 

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. A public funeral for family and friends Tuesday afternoon, March 1, 2022, from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m.,Rev. Ross Morrison officiating. Interment later in Hillcrest Cemetery, Alberton.
