The death occurred suddenly at Alma, PEI on Sunday, February 20, 2022, of George Michael Kinch, of Palmer Road, age 68 years. Beloved husband to Deborah Eileen (nee Costain) Kinch. Born on November 19, 1953, he was the son of the late Gregory and Edna (nee Burns) Kinch.

Dear father to Trevor (Michelle) Kinch of Thompson Road, Scott at home, Sheryl Kinch (Andy Ellsworth) of Miminegash, and Gail (Trevor) Waite of Centre Line Road. Cherished grandfather to Cameron, Maci, Chloe, Megan, Tyra Nike, and Eric. Dear brother to Lorraine Kinch of Alberton, Maureen Humble of Edmonton, AB, and Leo Kinch of Palmer Road. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Elaine Kinch and Debbie Kinch, his brothers-in-law, Jack Kokkinnen, David (Marilyn) Costain of Alberton, and Gary (late Clara) Kinch of Tryon, his uncle, Ellis Smallman, special cousin, Kent (Lloydia) Smallman of Alma, and special nephew, Jesse Kokkinnen.

He was predeceased by siblings, Reta Kokkinnen, John Kinch and James Kinch, and brother-in-law, Robert Costain.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for visitation (invitation only) Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday for family and friends from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Erasmus Madimbu officiating. Interment later in the Miminegash United Church Cemetery.
