The death occurred peacefully on Thursday, December 23, 2021, of Joseph "David" DesRoches, age 68 years. Beloved partner of Noreen Blanchard. Born on April 23, 1953, he was the son of the late George and Susan (nee LeClair) of St. Roch.

 

Dear father to Debbie (Kirk) Harper of Tignish, and Randy (Becky) Blanchard of Toronto. Cherished Pepe to Calleigh and Walker Harper. Dear brother to Mary (Jackie) DesRoches, Hector (Marjorie), Esther (late Ivan) Gallant, Ruby (Don) Gaudet, Claude (Phyllis), Albert and Paul. Dear brother-in-law to Raymond, Gerard (Brenda), Frederick (June), Joseph (Rose), Ida (late Bunny), and Anne Marie.

 

David was predeceased by his parents, George and Susie, brothers, Eddie and Ernie, and by siblings Henry, Ruby and Sheila, all in infancy, and by his nephew, Donald Gaudet Jr. Also predeceased by in-laws, Peter and Edna Blanchard, brother-in-law, Johnny (RoseAnn) and sister-in-law, Anita.

 

David will be missed by all who knew him including numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel. Complete funeral arrangements to be announced at a later date.
