The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Saturday, August 28, 2021, with his family by his side, of Albert George (Al) Clohossey of Nail Pond, PEI, age 85 years. Beloved husband to Catherine (nee Perry) Clohossey. Born at Charlottetown on May 12, 1936, he was the son of the late William and Libby (nee Shea) Clohossey.

Cherished father to Tracy Clohossey, Kurt Clohossey, Jamie Clohossey, all of Nail Pond, Betsy (Franklyn) Pitre of St. Felix. Loving grandfather to Madison Pitre (Ricco Stubs), Maci Kinch, Neville Richard and Brooklyn Pitre. He is also survived by a special nephew, Myles (Sally) Handrahan, as well as a by a brother, Leaman Fall of Crapaud. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law of the Perry family, and by his many friends.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Joan, Gwendolyn, Marion, Lillian, Dorothy, Blanche, Dave, John, Lloyd, Earl, Elmer and Willard. He was also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law, Edmund and Viola (nee Gallant) Perry, and by brothers-in-law, Bobby Perry and Russell Perry.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for visiting hours Tuesday, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for family and invited guests. Funeral mass Wednesday afternoon for family and invited guests from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, at 4:00 p.m., Rev. John Molina, Celebrant. Interment in the Church cemetery.
