The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, of Victor Joseph Gaudet of Tignish, PEI, age 80 years. Beloved husband to Colleen (nee Harper) Gaudet. Born at Deblois, PEI, on August 20, 1941, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mae (nee Bernard) Gaudet.

Lovingly remembered by his children, Patsy (Bill) Bernard of Harper Road, Debbie (Blain) Gavin of Peter Road, Stuart (Marie Perry) of Charlottetown, Ivy (Barry) Perry of Fort MacMurray, AB, and Ryan (Kathryn Forge) of Victoria, BC. Cherished grandfather to Tiffany (Neil) Boulter, Brody Gavin (Savanah DesRoches), Bradly Gavin (Allison Henderson), Johnathan Gaudet (Allanna Duskey), Paige Gaudet, Lucas Gavin and Ryan Perry. Great-grandfather to Ben Boulter (Claudia Sweet), Bria, Kinsley, Maecy Boulter, Brixton Gavin, Brenna Gavin, Ellie Gavin and Thomas Perry. Dear brother to Geraldine (Gerald) Perry of St. Catherines, ON, Donald (Ruby) Gaudet of Tignish, and David (Barb) Gaudet of Harper Road. Victor will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and his many friends and acquaintances.

He was predeceased by a son, Ross Gaudet, in 1992, his parents, Joseph and Mae Gaudet, his stepmother, Annie Mae Gaudet, and by his father and mother-in-law, Reginald and Patricia (nee Profit) Harper.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for visitation (for family and invited guests) Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass on Friday morning (for family and invited guest) from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. John Molina, celebrant. Interment in the Church cemetery.
