The death occurred peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Thursday, August 19, 2021, with her loving family by her side, of Edna Jean Kinch, beloved wife of the late Gregory Kinch, of Palmer Road, age 94 years. Born at St. Lawrence, PEI, on August 31, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Stella (nee Rix) Burns.

Lovingly remembered by her children, Lorraine Kinch of Northport, Maureen Humble of Edmonton, AB, George (Debbie) Kinch of Palmer Road, and Leo Kinch of Palmer Road. She is survived by her 14 grandchildren and by her 19 great-grandchildren. Dear mother-in-law to Debbie Kinch and Elaine Kinch, of both of Palmer Road, and Jack Kokkien of Tignish. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Ellis Smallman of Alma, and by her many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by children, James, Rita and John, as well as a sister, Carrie Smallman.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Private visitation Friday evening August 20th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A private family funeral mass on Saturday morning August 21st from the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Church Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Immaculate Conception Church Restoration Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
