The death occurred peacefully at the Tignish Seniors Coop Home, with her loving family by her side, on Thursday, June 17, 2021, of Mary Eva Perry, beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Perry, in her 97th year. Born on March 30, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Catherine (nee Perry) Arsenault. 

Loving mother of Stanley Perry of Wasaga Beach, ON, Irene (late Alphonse) LeClair, St. Peter and St. Paul, Catherine (Blair) Jenkins, Scarborough, ON, Gerard Perry (Marg Hunter), Grand Falls, NF, Bertha (late Silvano) Pierobon, Wasaba Beach, ON, and Louis Perry of St. Peter and St. Paul. She is survived by 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by a sister, Alma Marie Konwinski, Michigan, USA, and Sylvere (Doreen) Arsenault, St. Peter and St. Paul.

She was predeceased by daughters, Yvonne Perry and Claudette Perry, grandson, Roy LeClair,  granddaughter Vanessa Pierobon-Fawn and by siblings, Melda, Cecilia, and Joe. Eva loved knitting, card games, bingo, and her ultimate favorite food, lobster. She was a devoted member of St. Simon and St. Jude Parish, Tignish, as well as a member of the CWL.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visitation Monday evening 7:00-9:00 p.m. (by invitation only). Funeral Tuesday afternoon, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 3:00 (by visitation only), Fr. John Molina, Celebrant. Interment in the Church cemetery following the service.
