The death occurred peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, of Ethel Euphemia MacNevin, beloved wife of the late Basil Leigh MacNevin, of 1204 Buchanan Road, Mount Royal, PEI, in her 103rd year. Born at Mill Road, PEI, on October 3, 1918, she was the daughter of the late William and Janet (nee Dickenson) Duncan.

Loving mother to Audrey (late James) Graham of Alberton, Patricia (late Chris) Sabine of West Point, Hilton of Buchanan Road, and by her best friend, Owen Darrach of Brae. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and by a number of great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Basil, and by a granddaughter, Linda Arsenault. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Flossie, Eva, Emmie, Gladys, Ada, Annie, Helen, Maggie and Sammie.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., by invitation only. A private family graveside committal service to held on Friday afternoon, June 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from the Free Church of Scotland Cemetery in Milo with the Rev. Ann Bush officiating.
