The death occurred suddenly at Greenmount, PEI, on Monday, May 31, 2021, of Austin Joseph Charles Keough, cherished son of Ross Keough (Kim Banks) and Patti Lynn (nee McCarthy) Keough (George Merrick). 

Loving brother to Carter and Kalynn. Dear grandson of Jim and Linda McCarthy, George and Chris McNeill, and Kathleen Williams (Raymond Keough, deceased). Dear nephew to Jennifer and Gary Rozell, Robert and Marla McCarthy, Andrew McCarthy, Robert and Krista Keough, Tyler and Renee Keough, Joslyn MacNeill (Jeff Ellsworth), Ashton (Kenton) Smallman and Amber MacNeill (Kyle Chaisson). Dear cousin to Montana Keough, Sarah and Nathan McCarthy, Jake and Jack Rozell, Jarren and Jace Ellsworth, Allie, Avery and Katie Keough, Oakley Smallman, Maggie, Madison and Mackenzie (deceased) Keough. He is also survived by his many great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral and Chapel, Alberton, for visiting hours Thursday, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. (for family and invited guests only). Funeral mass Friday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Church cemetery.
