The death occurred suddenly at North Enmore on Friday, April 23, 2021, of Wayne Herbert Rayner, formerly of Greenmount, PEI, age 50 years. Born February 25, 1971, he was the son of Thomas Merrill (Tommy) and his wife Debbie, and the late Mary Elizabeth (Betty, nee Arsenault) Rayner. He is also lovingly remembered by his biological father, Dale Ryan.

He is survived by his children, Matthew and Kendra Rayner of North Enmore and Stephen Gilbert of Nova Scotia. Grandfather to Lexus and Saydee Rayner and Lucas John Gilbert. He is also survived by his siblings, Tammy (Mike McFadyen), Nelson Rayner, Polly Rayner, Scotty (Ineke) Rayner, Kevin Rayner, Jody (Bonnie) Rayner, Crystal Ryan (Clinton Peters), Trudy (Jason) Read and Natalie Ryan.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. No visitation or funeral by personal request. Interment to take place in the Church of Christ Cemetery Greenmount.
